Sunset on a fantastic week for Harwood Women
After a glorious week of golf at Bolton Old Links, Harwood’s Louisa Stirling became Bolton Ladies’ Champion on 25th June, after a very tight final against Annie Li-Wong from Old Links, which went all the way to the 18th. Congratulations to Louisa who has played some spectacular golf this week through the qualifiers, the quarters and the semis before reaching the final this evening.
It was a very successful week for Harwood generally, with three women qualifying for the Championship knock-out roundsIn addition to Louisa. Amelia Taylor lost in the quarters and Jenny Murphy lost in her semi-final against Annie earlier on finals day. Congratulations to both for playing so well and battling the course and the heat.
Two of Harwood’s teams also came 1st and 2nd on a CPO in the Texas Scramble team event which was held on Tuesday.
It was a fantastic Presentation Evening seeing so many prizes coming back to Harwood, made all the more special as this is our Centenary Week of celebrations for our Centenary Year.
